Your first Mission

Learn the decisions a community must settle before publishing a fair, verifiable Mission.

Start with one action whose success you can describe in a sentence. “Help the community” is too broad. “Attend the Saturday cleanup and submit the event confirmation” is testable.

Before publishing, settle:

  • Outcome: what should happen in the real world?
  • Audience: who is eligible?
  • Window: when can the action happen?
  • Proof: what evidence is necessary and proportionate?
  • Decision: who or what checks the proof?
  • Reward: what does each qualifying completion receive?
  • Capacity: how many completions can qualify?
  • Challenge: what happens when a Member disagrees?

Use the same language in the Member description and the reviewer policy. If the reviewer needs a condition the Member cannot see, the Mission is not ready.

For a first Mission, favor a narrow audience, modest capacity, and a review process your team can handle. Learn from the evidence before adding more steps or signals.

Mission authoring is available in the testnet Beta. Use the current operator screens alongside this guide.
