Engagement and discovery
Understand how useful Missions become repeat community habits without rewarding empty activity.
Discovery helps a Member find a relevant Space or Mission. Engagement helps that first useful action become a healthy reason to return.
ZYNC’s design does not treat raw clicks as the goal. Discovery should consider fit, trust, timing, and community context. A popular Mission that is irrelevant or unsafe for a Member is not a good recommendation.
Return loops with a purpose
Communities can use recurring Missions, streaks, milestones, reminders, invitations, and visible progress. These tools work best when they reinforce a genuine community ritual:
- a weekly local action;
- a recurring learning contribution;
- a monthly event;
- a series of steps toward a larger goal.
The system should avoid pressure patterns that hide terms, manufacture urgency, or punish a Member for taking a break. Recognition must follow the published action, not compulsive use.
For Sponsors, sustained participation is more useful than a burst of shallow impressions. For communities, the goal is a stronger habit of contribution. For Members, the experience should remain understandable and voluntary.
