Streaks and return loops

Learn how recurring participation can build a community habit without using hidden pressure.

A streak is a visible run of qualifying participation. A return loop is the larger reason to come back: a recurring Mission, a community event, new progress, or a trusted invitation.

These tools should reinforce meaningful action. They should not create a false emergency or hide what is required to continue.

A healthy streak

  • states which actions count;
  • updates only after the relevant result qualifies;
  • explains the time window;
  • does not change reward terms after you start;
  • can be paused or lost without threatening unrelated balances.

Recognition can include milestones, badges, Points, or community visibility. Any funded reward or earned ZYNC still follows its own published rules.

Notifications should be useful and controllable. A reminder can tell you that a weekly Mission is open; it should not shame you for missing one.

The strongest return loop is not the streak number. It is the feeling that your action mattered to people you recognize.
