Points, Credits, and ZYNC
Compare local Points, Beta Credits, and ZYNC without treating them as interchangeable.
ZYNC uses different value types for different jobs.
Points
Points show local participation, progress, or recognition. A Space or Mission can use them for access, milestones, and ranking. Points are not cash and do not become Credits or ZYNC.
For an optional Community Launch, a frozen Points snapshot can derive a separate stablecoin purchase allowance. Your Points do not move. You still pay for the Community Coin with USDC on Base or USDT on TON, and selling never restores the allowance. See Community Launches.
Credits
The production Credits model is cash-backed and withdrawable. In the testnet Beta, Credits use test assets with no real-world value. A Mission or Campaign may fund them, but Credits do not create Points, ZYNC, or contribution history.
ZYNC
ZYNC is the network contribution token. Earn-pool distribution and standing follow qualifying verified participation. A paid pass cannot mint ZYNC or make the same work earn more. After governed release, someone may acquire vested ZYNC from a holder, but that does not acquire the holder’s contribution history.
Funded rewards are separate again
A Mission may also provide a funded reward. That reward has its own amount or item, state, delivery method, and cashout rules. It may be delivered externally or from inventory, such as a gift card or voucher. Fees travel separately in Credits and never reduce the reward.
Keeping these lanes separate prevents a familiar problem: a large number displayed beside a Member’s name can look valuable while its actual use is unclear. Every balance should state its unit, scope, status, and purpose.
