Community code of conduct
A public conduct framework for respectful participation, safety reporting, fair enforcement, and appeals.
ZYNC communities should be places where people can contribute without harassment, coercion, deception, or unsafe pressure.
Participants are expected to:
- treat others with respect;
- follow the Space and Mission rules;
- provide honest proof;
- protect private information;
- disclose relevant conflicts;
- report safety concerns responsibly;
- accept proportionate moderation decisions while using the available appeal path.
Prohibited behavior includes harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, fabricated proof, reward manipulation, unwanted disclosure of private information, and attempts to evade a valid restriction.
Enforcement
Responses can include guidance, content removal, Mission rejection, temporary limits, removal from a Space, or broader safety restriction. The response should match the behavior and risk.
Reports should be handled by authorized people, documented, and shared only as necessary. Immediate safety may require urgent action before a full review.
Each Space may add rules for its context, but it should not weaken the platform’s safety baseline. Final enforcement, notice, appeal, and reporting language requires legal approval.
